Love Island's Belle Hassan broke down in tears as she opened up about her mental health struggles during a conversation with her dad.
The 22-year-old reality star recently appeared on her dad's podcast, Family Business, where she spoke candidly about struggling when she was younger.
During her interview, the blonde bombshell was comforted by her dad after she welled up in tears while recounting her battle.
She told her dad: "It's not something that's easy for me to talk about. I don't mind talking about it but it's not easy.
"As you know dad, when I was a kid I did go through a stage of self harming. For me that was something I really struggled with, and again it all came from a thing of…"
At that point her dad, actor Tamer Hassan explained to listeners Belle had become a little tearful.
"We're all welling up here. Take your time," he told his daughter.
"Mental health has been something that has been close to me, and I think when I've worked with young girls, I've seen that in so many of them," Belle continued.
"It's normal to hate yourself, it's normal to feel like you're not enough, you're worthless, you're this, you're that."
She added: "Being young and feeling like that about yourself is horrible.
Belle shot to fame when she appeared on Love Island and eventually coupled up with Anton Danyluk.
However, the couple parted ways just weeks after the reality show came to an end.
It's not the first time Belle has spoken of her battle with mental health and earlier this year she even quit social media at one point.
In her heartfelt statement, Belle urged her followers not to suffer in silence as she detailed her own struggle.
The television star was flooded with messages as her fellow Love Islands rushed to support her.
