The caped crusader himself has been seen out and about in Liverpool.
The Batman, now set for a 2022 release date, has been filming in the English city despite it's Tier 3 lockdown rules to curb the spread of Covid.
The flick, which recently released its first trailer, sees Robert Pattinson as the titular masked vigilante, as he works to unravel a series of mysterious crimes.
Director Matt Reeves is looking to transform Liverpool into Batman's home city of Gotham, the sinister, crime-riddled hell hole that Robert's superhero will do battle in.
And the famous figure was today spotted atop Livepool's Liver Building, clad in full costume, with him attached to wires and appearing to lean over the edge.
Batman was spotted by a passing Liverpudlian, who filmed some footage and shared it to their Instagram page.
They wrote: "Omggggggggg come to have a skate and just casually watched Batman chilling on the top of the liver building."
The film will also star Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman and Colin Farrell as villain The Penguin, as well as a host of others.
Liverpool is currently in a Tier 3 lockdown, the most severe form in the government's new local lockdown plan.
This means, among other rules, that pubs, bars and gyms, are forced to close their doors.
And despite questions being raised about filming forging ahead, Liverpool Council confirmed that the restrictions do not impact filming.
A spokeswoman told The Liverpool Echo : "The new restrictions in Liverpool do not currently impact on filming in the city region.
"The Film Office is working closely with every single production to ensure Covid-safe measures are in place and are being adhered to in accordance with rigorous industry protocols."
Originally set for a 2021 release date, Warner Bros bosses have now pushed it back to 2022 after Covid threw a spanner in the scheduling.
And the new delay comes after main star Robert caught the deadly bug.
Now fully recovered and back to filming, Vanity Fair reported that Robert had contracted coronavirus.
Warner Bros would not comment on the health of any individual, but did remark: "A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols.
