Ashley Cain’s daughter Azaylia has completed her second round of chemotherapy

Ashley Cain's baby daughter Azaylia Diamond - who has a rare form of leukemia - has completed her second round of chemotherapy.

Former Ex On The Beach star Ashley, 30, shared the update with fans on his Instagram page on Monday and also told that little tot Azaylia, who Ashley shares with girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee, is still in need of a stem cell donor.

Alongside a collection of snaps of himself and brave Azaylia, as well as an adorable clip of him holding her as he danced, at Birmingham Children's Hospital - where the four-month-old is being cared for - MTV personality Ashley told his followers that she is growing fast despite battling cancer of the blood.

He typed: "Blink and 4 months has gone by I can’t believe how much she has grown.

"The last time she had her height measured she was in the top 98 percentile of baby’s her age So it’s nice to see that she is still growing and developing really well despite her cancer and treatment.

"Those first 4 months have flown by so fast it’s crazy. But I’m proud to say that I don’t think there’s been a single day that I haven’t seen, danced and told my daughter I love her! & I don’t plan on breaking that commitment anytime soon!"

The former footballer added: "Azaylia has now completed her second round of chemotherapy and is now in the process of a 5 week recovery period in the hope that January she has found a donor match and can go into transplant #LetsGoChamp."

In October, Ashley announced the sad news about Azaylia's health in an Instagram video, saying: "Yesterday I had to go through something no parent in the world should have to go through.

"The single most upsetting, terrifying and heartbreaking experience I have ever been through.

"I found out my beautiful daughter Azaylia Diamond Cain got diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of leukaemia which has come with many complications.

"Everybody who wishes to, please say a prayer for my beautiful brave little girl Azaylia who is currently fighting a battle for her life!

"Mummy and Daddy love you princess LET'S GO CHAMP. You CAN and you WILL beat this!"

Azaylia was born on the August 10 and prior to her cancer diagnosis, Ashley and Safiyya noticed their newborn was struggling to breathe and had a swollen stomach.

The couple took her to see a doctor and they were told her inflated tummy was due to colic and that she was struggling to breathe as she had blocked nose.

Azaylia's symptoms did not improve so they called 111 and an ambulance was dispatched to their home.

After Azaylia was taken to hospital for tests it was discovered, at just eight-weeks-old, she had an aggressive form of leukemia and tumours on her lungs, stomach and kidneys.

Due to the aggressive nature of the little one's cancer, she will need a stem cell transplant if she is to be cured.
