The rapper has caused a lot of outrage ever since he decided to announce his plans to run for president. In the meantime, Kanye West has been making it even worse with all kinds of unhinged posts and controversial stances on important health rights such as vaccination and abortion.
With that being said, many have been criticizing him lately and, as it turns out, White House correspondent April Ryan also feels like Kanye West should not go through with his campaign.
Instead, she believes that the next POTUS needs to be someone ‘competent’ and educated about some of the most serious issues out there.
As for Kanye, April believes the rapper really needs to get help for his mental health problems instead of running for office when there is so much ‘at stake.’
This is what April Ryan revealed during a new interview for HollywoodLife.
‘Let me be clear, mental illness is real. I’m not targeting him because he has an issue and he is not taking his meds. But, here is my thing with Kanye. Kanye wants to be president. We have allowed somebody who has mental limitations already, made all these crazy comments on the campaign trail. People: ‘Oh, that’s just him joking’ or ‘That is him trying to get attention to win.’ That attention turned into reality,’ April stated.
Obviously, when April mentioned the president having ‘mental limitations’ she was referring to the current POTUS, Donald Trump.
This is in spite of the president bragging not too long ago that he ‘aced’ a cognitive test!
He’s also called himself a ‘stable genius’ before but April does not agree in the slightest!
‘Something is clearly not right. Republicans did not like him when he ran. No, no, no, no, something is wrong with, blah, blah, blah, blah. But, guess what? Once he got in they enabled him. This country cannot afford to enable another mentally limited person,’ April stressed.
