Valentine's Day cards written by Ant McPartlin to his ex wife Lisa Armstrong are among the items that she has dumped in a skip as her clear out continues.

Lisa is sorting out her former marital home with the Britain's Got Talent host and she has turned her attention to some sentimental 'loved up' items from her ex husband.

The 43-year-old make-up artist has been leaving items from her marriage to Ant, 44, in the street with a sign that reads: "Help yourself"

There have been a number of items that were personal to Ant but he has declined to take them when offered by Lisa, so she has left them for the general public to see if they would like to take some of it away.

While it has been books and physical items before, Lisa is now dumping soppy cards from Ant as well as their wedding planner book as she looks to move on after their divorce was finalised in October last year.

One of the cards that had been binned was written in by Ant, who told his wife at the time: "To the bestest wife in the whole world. Happy Valentine’s Day! I love you soooo much, for ever. Hubs x."

Geordie Alec Hannan told The Sun that he had been given permission to have a look through a skip full of Ant's items to see if he could find any old Newcastle United shirts.

The 38-year-old instead bagged himself a dressing gown which had been personalised to Ant from a charity golf event in 2006.

He also unearthed the wedding planner that Lisa and Ant used for their £150,000 wedding at Cliveden House in 2006.

The book also included seating arrangement plans.

Alec said that the cards and handwritten notes showed "how in love they once were. Sadly, it didn’t work out."

He said that he would keep a few items but would look to auction the rest off, claiming that he had been

"offered me a couple of hundred for the dressing gown."

Ant has now found love with Anne-Marie Corbett, 43, while Lisa has moved on with 38-year-old electrician, James Green.
