Angelina Jolie is believed to have urged her ex-husband Brad Pitt to isolate alone for 14 days following a romantic getaway with his rumoured new girlfriend amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Mr and Mrs Smith actress, 45, reportedly would not allow Brad, 56, to see their children for over two weeks after he whisked model Nicole Poturalski off to France.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star had reportedly hoped to cut his time in quarantine by half by taking two COVID-19 tests days apart to prove his negative diagnosis.

Despite his wishful thinking, ex-wife Angelina insisted that the star follow the recommended 14-day guidelines ‘for the sake of their children’, reports US Weekly.

An insider claimed that the proud mum was immensely concerned that her children could contract the killer virus following their dad’s European trip.

"Angelina insisted Brad quarantine for 14 days after he returned from France, citing a rise in COVID-19 cases in the country,” the source stated.

"She didn’t want to chance the kids getting it."

Brad and Angelina have three biological children and three adopted children: Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12.

It’s claimed that the Hollywood hunk hasn't seriously dated since his marriage to Angelina crumbled in 2016.

However, it seems that Nicole has well and truly caught Brad’s attention after he reportedly whisked the model to France earlier this month as the gorgeous pair were spotted skipping off a private jet in the South of France for their sun-soaked break.

For the duration of the trip, it's believed the pair enjoyed a stay at his estate Château Miraval which he bought in 2011 with ex-wife Angelina.

Nicole's claim to fame is her magazine covers from ELLE and Cosmopolitan to Marie Claire.

She's signed as a model to Next Management in Los Angeles and A Management in Germany.
