Amber Heard was left fuming after outraged fans slammed her for ditching her bra during a mosque visit in Turkey.

The actress, 34, decided to take a trip to clear her mind following the drama surrounding her and ex-husband Johnny Depp.

But it seems as though her stress-relieving trip has in fact done the opposite, as Amber was forced to defend herself on social media after several eyebrows were raised by her laid-back dress code.

Sharing a snap of her at the historic landmark on Instagram, Amber penned: "Spent the day wandering around the magic of Istanbul’s mosques and couldn’t be more in love with this gorgeous city..."

But her post triggered many comments hitting out at her for not wearing a bra, forcing her to defend herself.

Replying to an article that accused Amber of not wearing a bra at a mosque in Istanbul, the actress had a few stern words to tweet back.

The Aquaman star was slammed for wearing "inappropriate clothing" after sharing snaps of her outing on Instagram with her 3.9 million followers.

Hitting back at the remarks, Amber penned: "Nope. Apparently whoever paid 4 this to b 'written' wasnt paid enough. I'll make it easy(ier)."

She added: "Mosques are real places. So are museums & churches. So are head scarfs (where they are sometimes required n order 2 visit). Mystery solved."

But her response only seemed to add more fuel to the fire, as fans responded to her tweet - and it's safe to say they weren't impressed.

One wrote: "Amber Heard has no respect for religion or race. Posted while touring a mosque. Using a hijab as a fashion accessory. Hair and neck showing and braless."

Another penned: "Amber Heard is such a fake. She's trying too hard."

While a third added: "Amber Heard really did enter a mosque in Istanbul with her nipples on show didn't she? The disrespect."

It comes as Amber was called as a star witness for The Sun newspaper after her ex-husband Johnny slapped the publication with a libel case after they branded him a wife beater.

The actress has claimed that the Pirates of the Caribbean star was violent towards her during their marriage, however Johnny vehemently denies all the claims against him.
