Amber Heard 's friend Raquel 'Rocky' Pennington has claimed the actress was left lying on the floor "naked", "bleeding" and soaked in alcohol as Johnny Depp "urinated on the furniture" in a boozy meltdown.
Johnny Depp, 57, is suing News Group Newspapers for libel over a story published in The Sun in 2018 which branded him a "wife beater" - a claim which he strenuously denies.
The actor claims Heard was violent towards him during the marriage, while the Aquaman star claims she only lashed out in self sefence.
Pennington lived in Depp's penthouse block in Los Angeles for roughly two years between 2014 and 2016 and she claims she was "best friends" with the actress at the time.
She gave evidence via video link from Los Angeles and when asked if she ever saw Depp hit Heard, she told the court she did not.
In her witness statement, presented to the court today, she talked about the couple's trip to Australia in 2015,during which Depp was said to have caused $150,000 in damage to their rented home Down Under.
Pennington claims Heard told her they had a row about Depp's drinking, as he had been trying to get sober.
She repeated Heard's allegations that Depp threw a number of glass bottles at her during the row.
Pennington stated: "She [Heard] said that he was throwing glass bottles at her, and there was broken glass all over the ground which cut her feet.
"She said he backed her up against a bar and she was trying to support herself but her arms were sliding down and getting cut by broken glass.
"Amber told me that at this point Johnny ripped off her nightgown and she was naked on the ground, all wet with alcohol, and bleeding.
"Amber told me that at some point during this fight Johnny had cut the tip of his finger off.
"Amber showed me pictures of painted messages Johnny had written all over the rental house in paint and his own blood.
"She said that whilst she had gone to get dressed he had dipped his bloody finger in paint and written all over the walls and the lampshades.
"She said she came down and he was urinating on the furniture and had smashed the television."
Depp claimed the rop of his finger was severed when Heard threw a bottle at him during the row, while Heard alleged he sustained the injury when he smashed a plastic phone against a wall.
He also denied being violent towards his wife during the row in Australia.
During Heard's final day of questioning yesterday, she also mentioned the scene at the Australian house, during a trip there in March 2015.
The Aquaman star claimed she found blood dripping from the walls, a live bird indoors, broken glass and food smeared all over the home.
She also alleged Depp had tried to set fire to one of the sofas during a "rage".
Depp has denied he was ever violent towards his ex-wife and has accused her of abusing him during their marriage.
Lawyers for NGN are defending their case based on Heard's 14 allegations of abuse, which include claims of bust-ups between 2013 and 2016.
The actor has argued his ex-wife was abusive towards him during the marriage, which collapsed in 2016.
