Love Island’s Amber Davies failed to find love on the ITV2 dating show.
The reality star, 24, had given up on romance after her very public relationship with fellow Islander Kim Cetinay turned sour just months after leaving the villa.
Her failed romance was followed by headline-grabbing flings reportedly including TOWIE’s Pete Wicks and One Direction’s Liam Payne and “fame-hungry” lads.
The final straw seemed to come when her mentor Dolly Parton told her to forget about men when they worked together in London’s West End on 9 To 5: The Musical, she has admitted.
But Amber has finally found herself a fella, much to the surprise of her and her fans.
Television beauty went public with her new beau Nick Kryiacou, 28, on Instagram on Saturday as they posted loved-up pictures together.
According to Mail Online, Nick is an operations manager from Twickenham.
Of the pair's happy relationship, a source told the paper: "In the past Amber has kept her romantic life private but she's so in love with Nick.
"After meeting her family the weekend she knew it was the right time to share her new relationship with her fans.
"Nick is a normal guy who isn't in the spotlight, which is why Amber kept his Instagram profile untagged from their posts together."
Now Amber herself has lifted the lid on her new relationship, revealing she found “The One” only when she stopped looking for love.
The Love Island 2017 winner told The Sun : “I was so set on being a career woman and not having a boyfriend that one fell in my lap — and now I can’t let him go.”
Amber admitted she wasn’t planning on meeting anyone after her string of failed romances but described Nick as “so different”.
“The pandemic has made me realise you can’t plan how everything is going to go,” she told the publication.
The brunette beauty revealed her relationship is moving fast since they were introduced through friends and had adopted her own drawer in Nick’s house within a month of them dating.
She admitted: “I know I’m being too eager — we still haven’t had our first row — but I can’t wait for us to be together.”
Amber memorably won Love Island with her then-boyfriend Kem Cetinay but split 132 days after winning big money together.
Kem himself, who has gone on to have TV presenting gigs with Love Island co-star Chris Hughes, is now in a relationship with trainee lawyer Lexi Hyzler.
Amber confessed she was afraid her on-screen romp with Kem would have deterred her new beau’s family from taking to her but instead she’s been embraced with “understanding and warmth”.
Nick’s mum and sister, who are massive Love Island fans, welcomed her with open arms which, Amber said, came as “a massive relief”.
