Amanda Holden covers up for BGT after 'insulting saucepan nipples' complaints'
Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has opened up about the plunging dress she wore on last weekend's show that sparked a flurry of Ofcom complaints - joking her boobs need their own representation
Amanda Holden is covering up for this weekend's installments of Britain's Got Talent after admitting she felt "insulted" that viewers thought she had "huge saucepan nipples" when they complained about her plunging dress.
The telly beauty, 49, wore a saucy low-cut frock on the ITV last weekend, but it sparked more than 200 complaints to Ofcom with fans convinced she'd been left over-exposed.
However, Amanda has since denied she had shown too much - insisting her boobs had been squished by her underwired corset.
She has now confessed she was baffled by the complaints.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, she explained: "I can see what people think, it had a like an underwire, you know when you have an underwire bikini or bra, the end of it it's like an upside down U isn't it. The end of it dug in.
"I was more insulted that people thought I had either huge saucepan nipples or nipples over my cleavage."
She went on to joke her boobs need their own agent to book them an interview with Piers Morgan.
Amanda added: "I am seriously thinking my girls need separate representation to me, because they are known on their own.
"They don't need me, they're going to go off and do Piers Morgan's Life Stories on their own next year!"
Last weekend's semi-final sparked 277 complaints to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom, with 235 of them about Amanda's dress.
After her frock caused a stir last weekend, Amanda took to her Instagram page to set the record straight, insisting her nipples were nowhere near view.
Sharing a screenshot of a headline about her risqué frock, she wrote: "Mmmm really?! Who has nipples this close to their cleavage?!"
"FYI. A boned corset dented the girls all night," she added, alongside some egg emojis.
The glamorous star has decided to cover up for this weekend's show - she's going to be wearing a high-necked white number that completely covers up her chest.
