Amanda Holden covers up after racy BGT dress sparks more than 200 Ofcom complaints
The Britain's Got Talent judge has broken her cover after provoking yet more Ofcom controversy with her attention-grabbing semi-final gown
Amanda Holden kept covered as she faced the paps hours after the number of complaints for her latest Britain's Got Talent dress was revealed.
More than 200 viewers have taken to Ofcom since Saturday night to report the head judge over her plunging navy gown.
Amanda, 49, made headlines as she appeared to suffer an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction at one point with alarmed viewers suspecting the sweetheart neckline of her dress had slipped to accidentally reveal a nipple.
Despite the drama, Amanda was all smiles as she was papped leaving the Heart FM studios after presenting her radio show on Tuesday morning.
Amanda was covered up in a chic knitted midi dress that she set off with a pair of heeled ankle boots and matching leather handbag.
While the weather was cold and rainy, Amanda kept a bright outlook by donning a pair of sunglasses and styling her blonde hair in beachy waves.
Her appearance comes after regulator Ofcom revealed that 277 complaints have been lodged about the latest Britain's Got Talent semi-final - with the majority in relation to Amanda's racy dress.
As the show went to air, many viewers took to Twitter to ask if the judge had revealed more than she bargained for.
"Is it me or Amanda's nipples nearly hanging out of her top?" questioned one.
While others complained it was too much for a family show.
Following the furore, Amanda took to Instagram to set the record straight and insisted the gown wasn't as shocking as it may have appeared on camera.
Sharing a screenshot of a headline about her risqué frock, she penned: "Mmmm really?! Who has nipples this close to their cleavage ?!," alongside a laughing emoji.
"FYI. A boned corset dented the girls all night," she added, alongside some egg emojis.
It's not the first time Amanda's choice of wardrobe has angered viewers.
Back in 2017, a slashed to the navel Julien Macdonald number Amanda became the most complained about TV moment of the year.
The gown, worth £11,250, received more complaints than Russell Brand swearing during Comic Relief which had 340 complaints.
Before she stepped out in the revealing gown, Amanda told The Sun: "I can't wait to wear my dresses. They are very flattering and feminine and a few are ... what you would expect.
