Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria have thrown their support behind "kind" Ellen DeGeneres amid the backlash.
Ellen has come under the microscope after waves of misconduct, racism and sexual harassment claims from her former and present staff have emerged.
It's reported the TV host will weather the social media storm as calls for James Corden to replace her on her title programme The Ellen DeGeneres Show have been made amid the swirling gossip.
Alec and Hilaria stood beside Ellen as she faced the drama head on.
They showed support for the television sensation on their official account with their one million followers on Twitter.
The famous showbiz couple described Ellen as "always being kind to me" in a jaw-dropping statement.
Hilaria and Alec Baldwin Foundation wrote: "In the entertainment business, sometimes people can go too far in pursuit of a creative or commercial goal.
"Or people who work for you may do so.
"Having stated that, @TheEllenShow has always been kind to me. So...there’s that."
Alec has previously appeared on The Ellen Show with Ellen as host.
Their comments come as Kevin Hart defended Ellen in a tweet.
He posted: "It's crazy to see my friend go thru what she's going thru publicly.
"I have known Ellen for years and I can honestly say that she's one of the dopest people on the f***ing planet. She has treated my family and my team with love and respect from day 1."
Kevin continued: "The internet has become a crazy world of negativity... we are falling in love with peoples down fall. It's honestly sad... When did we get here? I stand by the ones that I know and that I love.
"Looking forward to the future where we get back to loving one another... this hate s*** has to stop. Hopefully it goes out of style soon...
"This post is not meant to disregard the feelings of others and their experiences... It's simply to show what my experiences have been with my friend. Love you for life Ellen..." (sic)
