Adele lands back in London as she puts finishing touches on new album

Adele is back in the UK as she gets closer and closer to finishing her fourth album.

The megastar's latest record is said to be nearing completion - and is one of the most highly-anticipated new releases in recent music history.

She has been spending time in America, throwing fans a teaser of her imminent return by appearing on Saturday Night Live.

Now she is back in London to put the finishing touches to the album.

Adele was spotted dining with a friend at trendy Chiltern Firehouse last week, the first time she has been seen this side of the Atlantic for a month.

She recently said the album "isn't done yet" - and now she has come home to get it done.

A source told The Sun : “Adele wants to lay low while she’s here, which is easy with shades and a face mask. People don’t recognise her like they used to anyway.

"She’s not been able to release new music yet and she’s totally focused on that and getting each track just right.

“She still has a network of people she works with and links up with when she is over here.”

In a rare social media post last month, she wrote: “I’m going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am.”

She could have a lot going on in 2021.

Producers are reportedly desperate to cast her Hollywood's next big movie star.

Adele "ticks all the boxes" when it comes to what movie producers are looking for right now.

A source told heat : "Adele is being wooed by Hollywood movie bosses as a bonafide actress.

"There's nobody in Europe or America with a hotter rep right now, and while she's been getting these offers for years, it's hard to imagine her star getting any brighter, so the feeling is that she'd be wise to move now.

"While she lost weight for herself and her own happiness, she knows this more glamorous image is more appealing to Hollywood producers.
