Absolutely Ascot's Alfie Best Jr was delighted to be reunited with his £100k Audi after cops seized it when he was caught doing 130mph
Alfie Best Jr was ecstatic to be reunited with his £100,000 Audi.
Cops seized the flashy set of wheels when he was caught speeding at 130mph as he put his foot down on a motorway.
The Absolutely Ascot star, 23, was left with no choice but to shell out £4,500 on taxis on 440-mile rides halfway across France when his car was confiscated by police.
So of course the son of one of Britain’s richest men was delighted to have his six-figure motor back in his possession on Tuesday.
Alfie circulated a picture of his shiny silver car on his Instagram on Tuesday.
His pride and joy was on display for his 76.8K fans to see on social media.
He had been racing around from Calais to Cannes when he was approached by cops.
In order to wait for his car, the hunk was forced to extend his stay in the country after the vehicle was impounded for a week.
Alfie shared his regrets over speeding with the Sunday Mirror.
“They don’t play games out here. I wish I hadn’t done it now, I wasn’t thinking...," he explained.
“I knew it was a bit of a chew but I didn’t think for the life of me they’d take the car. I won’t be speeding any more, it can cause you a lot of grief.”
Alfie faced a £680 fine and six-month ban.
He's famed as the son of mobile home park tycoon Alfie Best Sr.
