A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck the Pacoima neighborhood of Los Angeles area early Thursday, CBS L.A. reports. It struck at 4:29 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake was initially recorded as a 4.5, but later downgraded to a 4.2.
It was followed at 4:38 a.m. by a 3.3-magnitude aftershock.
There were no initial reports of any injuries or damage.
