Taking to her Stories, the Britain’s Got Talent judge and Heart Radio DJ claimed she could see BGT co-star Simon Cowell’s face in a curious wall pattern.
Sat in what looked like a restaurant, Amanda snapped a photo of the piece of wall from across the wall, writing: “Is anyone else seeing @simoncowell here?”
It looked like Amanda was out for dinner with her two daughters, Lexi, 14, and Hollie, eight.
Amanda has been feeding fans updates on Simon after he was rushed to hospital for emergency back surgery after he suffered a nasty fall while out and about on his electric bike in Malibu.
“I’ve been thinking about my dear friend all day,” she wrote, “and luckily I’m able to say (with blessing) that he’s had his operation and he’s doing really well.
“Chris Lexi Hollie and me wish you a speedy recovery and send you, Lauren and Eric all our love.”
A close pal of Simon’s told the Mirror that he had missed breaking his spinal cord “by a centimetre.”
But after his surgery, Simon’s on the mend and even said to be building up to his TV return – possibly as soon as next month.
He’s already been forced to miss the first live show of America’s Got Talent, thanking Kelly Clarkson for stepping in for him alongside Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel.
Meanwhile, Amanda and Simon’s fellow BGT judge Alesha Dixon teased possible plans for him to appear via video link when the live shows start filming next month.
“I’ve spoken with [Simon’s girlfriend Lauren Silverman],” Alesha told on This Morning, “she’s kept me updated. I’ve not been able to stop thinking about them all.
“It’s horrific. We’ve all been devastated and worried about Simon but the positive thing is that he’s in good spirits and Lauren said that he’s slowly on the mend.
