Giovanna Fletcher isn’t sorry for her secret signals to her sons as they watched her win I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

The star has come in for criticism with message home against strict show rules.

It soon became clear she was communicating with her family during her successful stay in Wales – and some viewers pulled her up on it.

But the Queen of the Castle, 35, defended herself after addressing the controversy on social media.

Boys Buzz, 6, Buddy, 4 and Max, 2 loved her little signals – including a not-so-subtle thumb to the nose as she wiggle her fingers.

She revealed just how important her secret message to her sons were after she was crowed the winner.

Giovanna posted a snap of herself on Instagram leaving the castle and triumphantly doing the hand gesture to the camera.

She captioned the post: “Yes… I know it was clocked! I tried to find a discreet ‘signal’ with the boys so they knew I was thinking of them while I was away… They’re 6,4 and 2, so subtlety (like a little ear tug) wasn’t going to work on them.

“We decided to go big. I can’t tell you how much it meant when @antanddec started doing it back! It’s certainly the little things that get you in there!!”

She went on: “Vernon was thoughtful, hilarious and smart while Jordan filled us all with pride as he took on each new trial with more and more courage and bravery.

“The whole experience would’ve been completely different if it weren’t for my superb camp mates (who I love endlessly).”

Her little boys will be seeing more of her on the telly soon.
