Faye Brookes’ Dancing On Ice partner Hamish Gaman sweeps her off her feet in rehearsal

Faye Brookes and her Dancing On Ice skating partner Hamish Gaman was seen during an outdoor rehearsal as they get ready for the 2021 series

Faye Brookes and her Dancing On Ice skating partner look like they’ve already formed a close bond.

The former Coronation Street star, 33, was pictured rehearsing al fresco with Hamish Gaman, who she will skate with when the competition starts early next year.

Hamish picked Faye up and slung her over his shoulder as they started preparing themselves for the show outdoors on Wednesday morning.

She pulled her best concentrating face as she braved being held up in the air by Hamish.

They both wore black outfits, with Faye sporting a long-sleeve top, leggings and a pair of white trainers.

The TV star wore her brunette locks in a plait and appeared to be wearing minimal makeup.

Hamish showed off his muscular frame in a tight top and smart trousers, which he teamed with some black trainers.

He was seen putting his hands on Faye’s hips as they rehearsed one move.

Hamish appeared to be taking her through the routine step by step.

Faye grinned nervously as he lifted her into the air in another move.

The pair already seemed to have formed a close bond as they had huge smiles on their faces throughout rehearsals.

The rehearsal appeared to be thirsty work as she left with a bottle of water.

Hamish also showed her something on his phone as they left the space together.

Faye is part of the Dancing on Ice 2021 line-up.

Her appearance was confirmed on ITV’s Lorraine last month.

Faye said: “I’m so excited! I had to meet with the team, they had to see me on the ice and there was a coach to review the basics.

“The producers get to know you and this is the first time people will get to see me – not being a character, not hiding behind anything, just Faye.”

Also among the celebrities taking part is Mummy Diaires star Billie Faiers, former Neighbours actor Jason Donovan, TV presenter Denise van Outen, WAG Rebekah Vardy, Emmerdale star Joe-Warren Plant and TV presenter Myleene Klass.

Completing the line-up is comedian Rufus Hound, rapper Lady Leshurr, former Olympic skier Graham Bell, former sprinter and hurdling athlete Colin Jackson and DJ Sonny Jay.

Rehearsals for next year’s show have already started.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby once again return to present the show.

Torvill and Dean, John Barrowman and Ashley Banjo will all resume their roles as judges
